Privacy Policy
The short version
We don't collect your personal information. There's no account system, no newsletter signup, and no form that asks for your name or email. You can read every page on this site without telling us who you are.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for or store names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal details. If you leave a public comment, whatever you type in the comment is visible to other readers — so don't put personal information in comments.
Cookies and analytics
Like most sites, our hosting setup may log basic technical data — things like which pages get visited and roughly how many people visit. This is aggregate, anonymous traffic data. It's used to understand which articles people find useful, not to identify anyone.
We don't run third-party advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share any data with anyone, because there's nothing meaningful to share.
External links
This site links to outside sources — news outlets, Wikipedia, Ballotpedia — so you can verify what we write. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they collect once you click through.
Children's privacy
This site is written for a general audience and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and there's no part of the site that asks for it.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you ever shared something in a public comment that you'd like removed, leave a new comment pointing to it and we'll take it down.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here. Because we collect essentially nothing, changes are unlikely.
Questions
Use the contact page if you have questions about this policy. As explained there, public comments are the way to reach us.
